New Caledonia is a French sui generis overseas collectivity in the South Pacific. It is part of the French Republic but is NOT in the Schengen Area, so it applies its own entry rules and ETIAS does not apply. Singapore ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry for tourism and short business trips: up to 90 days (3 months) in any 180-day (6-month) period, provided no paid activity is undertaken. This exemption is confirmed by the official France-Visas portal, which extends Singapore's 90/180 short-stay exemption to French overseas collectivities including New Caledonia. Note that a Schengen visa is not valid for New Caledonia and vice versa; the territories are treated separately. Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years, remain valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure, and contain at least two blank pages. Travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, as these may be checked on arrival.
