Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter Kazakhstan visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days per visit, capped at 90 days within any 180-day period. Holders of an ordinary Singapore passport may enter Kazakhstan without a visa for tourism, business, or transit for up to 30 calendar days per entry, subject to an overall limit of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period (counted from the first entry). This regime, in place since the visa-free program resumed on 1 January 2022, covers around 57-80 nationalities and Singapore is included. There is nothing to apply for in advance: travelers simply present a passport with at least six months of validity, evidence of onward/return travel, and proof of accommodation at the border. Kazakhstan is not part of the Schengen area, so the EU Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply; Kazakhstan operates its own separate 90/180 counting. One practical obligation: visitors staying longer than a few business days in private accommodation may need to be registered with the migration service via the eGov / Berkut system (hotels normally handle this automatically at check-in). For stays beyond 30 days, paid work, study, or long-term residence, a relevant visa or permit must be obtained from the Embassy of Kazakhstan. Travelers should reconfirm details close to departure, as Kazakhstan has been actively broadening and adjusting its visa-free regime in 2024-2026.
