Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter Djibouti visa-free for tourism. No eVisa or visa on arrival is required, thanks to a bilateral visa-exemption agreement between Singapore and Djibouti. Singapore is one of the very few countries whose ordinary passport holders enjoy fully visa-free access to Djibouti. Under a bilateral visa-waiver arrangement, Singaporeans may enter the Republic of Djibouti without obtaining a visa in advance and without paying the eVisa fee that most other nationalities must pay through the official portal at evisa.gouv.dj. Multiple authoritative sources (Wikipedia's visa policy of Djibouti, Wikipedia's visa requirements for Singapore citizens, and IATA-derived travel references) confirm Singapore appears on Djibouti's short exemption list. The exemption is notably generous: sources indicate no fixed maximum stay limit is stipulated for Singapore ordinary passport holders, though in practice travelers should expect to be admitted for a normal tourist stay (commonly treated as up to 90 days) at the discretion of the immigration officer at Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport. The access is reciprocal, as Djiboutian citizens also enjoy visa-free entry to Singapore. Travelers must still hold a passport valid for at least six months with blank pages, and should carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if arriving from or transiting a country with risk of yellow fever transmission. Because Djibouti is in East Africa (Horn of Africa) and not in the Schengen area, the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
