Singapore ordinary passport holders can travel to Cyprus visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa or ETIAS is required as of 1 June 2026. Cyprus is a European Union member state, and Singapore is on the EU/Cyprus list of nationalities exempt from short-stay visas. A Singaporean ordinary passport holder may enter Cyprus visa-free for tourism, business, family visits, or short study and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Cyprus is not yet a full Schengen member (accession is targeted for 2026), so for now its 90/180 day allowance is calculated separately from time spent in the Schengen Area, but the same visa-exemption list and short-stay logic apply. The EU's ETIAS travel authorisation is scheduled to launch in the last quarter of 2026 with a transitional grace period afterward; it is NOT yet operational as of 1 June 2026, so Singaporeans do not need to apply for or hold an ETIAS right now. When ETIAS goes live (expected late 2026, mandatory around 2027 after a transition), Singapore nationals will need an approved ETIAS (about EUR 7, valid up to 3 years) before travel, and it will cover Cyprus. Travellers should carry a passport valid at least 3 months (6 months recommended) beyond departure, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, sufficient funds, and travel medical insurance (EUR 30,000 minimum is commonly requested).
