🇸🇦沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia)🇺🇾乌拉圭(Uruguay)SA-UY 沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia) 前往 乌拉圭(Uruguay) 签证要求
Saudi Arabian ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Uruguay for tourism. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa channel. You must apply in advance at the Embassy of Uruguay in Riyadh (or the Consulate General in Jeddah). Uruguay is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen and ETIAS rules do not apply. Uruguay does not exempt Saudi Arabia from its visa requirement. Saudi citizens are not on Uruguay's National Immigration Directorate (Direccion Nacional de Migracion) list of visa-exempt nationalities, and both the Uruguayan Embassy in Saudi Arabia and standard travel-document references confirm a visa must be obtained before travel. The application is a consular (paper) visa processed through the Embassy of Uruguay in Riyadh; it is not an eVisa and there is no visa on arrival in Montevideo or at any port of entry. The embassy quotes a consular fee of SAR 202.50 (non-refundable, by bank transfer) and advises starting the process at least one month before the trip, since the final decision rests with Uruguay's National Immigration Directorate. Typical tourist documentation includes a passport valid at least six months, a 4x4 cm white-background photo, an invitation letter from a contact or host in Uruguay, hotel reservations, return travel, employment verification, and bank statements proving sufficient funds. Uruguay is a South American country and not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule and the EU ETIAS scheme are irrelevant to this route. No recent (2024-2026) unilateral visa waiver, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival rollout has been identified for Saudi nationals; the position remains visa-required.
