🇸🇦沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia)🇸🇾叙利亚(Syria)SA-SY 沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia) 前往 叙利亚(Syria) 签证要求
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival (VOA) for short tourist visits to Syria. There is no advance visa required for a short stay, but a fee is paid in cash (USD) on entry. Syria is not in the Schengen area. As a Gulf Cooperation Council member, Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders are granted a visa on arrival to Syria rather than visa-free entry. Following the change of government in late 2024 and a new fee structure rolled out in 2025, Syria charges visa fees on a reciprocity basis at Damascus and Aleppo international airports and at the Lebanese (Masnaa–Jdeideh) and Jordanian (Naseeb–Jaber) land crossings. The previous eVisa platform announced in 2024 is no longer operational, so the practical channel for Saudis is the visa on arrival. Reported fees for Saudi nationals vary by source and visa class — generally in the range of roughly USD 50 to USD 150 — paid only in clean USD cash on entry, with a stay typically of 15 days up to 1–3 months depending on the visa group applied. A passport valid at least six months is expected, and any sign of Israeli stamps or Israeli nationality results in refused entry. Because Syria remains a high-risk destination with active travel warnings and rapidly evolving entry rules, travelers should confirm the current fee and whether prior airport entry approval is needed with the nearest Syrian diplomatic mission shortly before departure. This is a tourist/short-visit VOA, not a Schengen matter (Syria is not in the Schengen area, so the 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply).
