Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa before traveling to Paraguay. There is no visa-free entry, no visa on arrival, and no eVisa channel for Saudi nationals. Because Saudi Arabia has no resident Paraguayan embassy, applications are typically handled through the nearest accredited Paraguayan consular post (commonly via posts covering the Gulf/Middle East region such as the UAE, or the embassy circuit). The tourist visa allows a short stay of up to 90 days and requires standard supporting documents: passport valid at least 6 months, photo, proof of funds, accommodation/invitation, return itinerary, and an apostilled criminal-record certificate. Note that as of mid-2026, Paraguay was reportedly working toward opening an embassy in Riyadh and potentially abolishing visa requirements for Saudi citizens, but no visa waiver has entered force, so travelers must continue to obtain a visa. Default verdict remains visa-required.
