🇸🇦沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia)🇲🇿莫桑比克(Mozambique)SA-MZ 沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia) 前往 莫桑比克(Mozambique) 签证要求
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for short tourist stays in Mozambique (up to 30 days) but must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before travel via the official portal evisa.gov.mz. The ETA costs about US$48 and should be applied for at least 48 hours before departure. There is no traditional tourist visa or visa-on-arrival channel for Saudi nationals; the ETA is the required pre-travel authorization. Saudi Arabia is one of 29 countries that Mozambique unilaterally exempts from short-stay visa requirements for tourism and business stays of up to 30 days. However, since the ETA scheme was introduced (effective 1 May 2023 and reinforced under the revamped 2026 digital portal), travelers from these visa-exempt countries must register and obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before arrival. The ETA is a pre-travel authorization, not a visa: it is applied for at evisa.gov.mz (the official portal of Mozambique's National Migration Service / SENAMI, now operated with VFS Global), costs approximately US$48, and authorizes a stay of up to 30 days (extendable by a further 30 days inside Mozambique with justification). Mozambique is in southern Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Airlines increasingly verify ETA compliance at check-in, and although some IATA Timatic guidance has at times still permitted boarding without an ETA, the Mozambican government strongly recommends obtaining one before travel. Given the official requirement to register and pay before arrival, the best single verdict for a Saudi tourist is "eta". Travelers should apply at least 48 hours before departure (earlier in peak season) and carry proof of accommodation, onward/return ticket, and sufficient funds.
