Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa for Indonesia. The standard option for tourism is the B1 Visa on Arrival (VOA), best obtained as an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) online before departure via the official portal. It allows a 30-day stay (extendable once by 30 days) and costs IDR 500,000. Saudi Arabia is not on Indonesia's visa-free list, so a Saudi ordinary passport holder cannot enter Indonesia without a visa. For a short tourist visit, Saudi nationals are eligible for the Indonesian B1 Visa on Arrival (VOA), which can be purchased on arrival at major airports/seaports or, preferably, secured in advance online as an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) through the official Directorate General of Immigration portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id / molina.imigrasi.go.id). The visa permits a single entry and a maximum 30-day stay from the date of arrival, and it can be extended once for a further 30 days (total up to 60 days) at a local immigration office. The government fee is IDR 500,000 (approximately USD 35). The e-VOA is valid for 90 days from issuance, meaning the holder may enter any time within that window. A passport valid at least 6 months, a return/onward ticket, and proof of accommodation/funds are required. Indonesia is in Southeast Asia and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Travelers wanting longer stays, work, or multiple entries must apply for a different visa category before travel.
