🇸🇦沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia)🇨🇭瑞士(Switzerland)SA-CH 沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia) 前往 瑞士(Switzerland) 签证要求
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a Schengen Type C short-stay visa to visit Switzerland for tourism. Switzerland is in the Schengen Area, so there is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option — you must apply in advance through VFS Global before travel. Switzerland is a member of the Schengen Area, and Saudi Arabia is not on the Schengen visa-exemption list. As a result, Saudi ordinary passport holders must obtain a Schengen Type C (short-stay) visa before traveling to Switzerland for tourism. The visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Applications are submitted in Saudi Arabia through the official outsourced partner VFS Global (centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar and Aramco Dhahran), with biometrics (fingerprints and photo) captured in person. The Schengen visa fee is EUR 80 for adults, plus a VFS service fee. ETIAS is the upcoming EU travel authorization expected in Q4 2026, but it applies only to currently visa-EXEMPT nationalities; Saudi passport holders remain subject to the full visa requirement and ETIAS does not replace it for them. The EU has discussed facilitating future visa-free entry for Saudi citizens, but as of May 2026 no such waiver is in force, so the conservative and accurate verdict is visa-required.
