Applicants can alternatively obtain a paper visa from a Burkina Faso diplomatic mission, but the online eVisa is faster for tourism. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry, and the passport must be valid at least six months. Burkina Faso is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
