An important practical note: while Saudi citizens are eligible by nationality, the E-Afghans system currently excludes applications submitted from certain countries of residence - including Saudi Arabia - so a Saudi national resident in the Kingdom may need to apply while in or as a resident of an eligible third country, or arrange the visa through a specialist tour operator. Separately, the Saudi government advises its citizens against all travel to Afghanistan for safety reasons; the eVisa channel exists but travel carries significant security risk.
