🇸🇦沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia)🇦🇫阿富汗(Afghanistan)SA-AF 沙特阿拉伯(Saudi Arabia) 前往 阿富汗(Afghanistan) 签证要求
Saudi Arabian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Afghanistan; the available channel for a short tourist visit is the single-entry tourist e-Visa launched in March 2026, allowing up to 30 days and valid for entry only via Kabul International Airport. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival arrangement between Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, and no GCC or bilateral waiver applies. As of mid-2026, the practical route for a Saudi tourist is Afghanistan's online tourist e-Visa, introduced in March 2026 and processed via the E-Afghans portal (operated by the Afghan Consulate in Dubai). It is a single-entry visa permitting a stay of up to 30 days, valid for entry for 90 days from issue, and currently accepted only at Kabul International Airport (KBL) - not at land borders or other airports. The visa fee is approximately USD 120 (around USD 124-128 with processing charges). Applicants typically supply a passport bio-page scan, a photo, accommodation/itinerary details, and an Afghan in-country contact or sponsor (an invitation letter helps but is not always mandatory). An important practical note: while Saudi citizens are eligible by nationality, the E-Afghans system currently excludes applications submitted from certain countries of residence - including Saudi Arabia - so a Saudi national resident in the Kingdom may need to apply while in or as a resident of an eligible third country, or arrange the visa through a specialist tour operator. Separately, the Saudi government advises its citizens against all travel to Afghanistan for safety reasons; the eVisa channel exists but travel carries significant security risk. Afghanistan is not in the Schengen area, so the 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Verdict: e-Visa (visa required, obtained online before travel).
