🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)🇸🇷苏里南(Suriname)RU-SR 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 前往 苏里南(Suriname) 签证要求
Russian ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Suriname for tourism. Russia is not visa-free and is not eligible for either Suriname's e-Tourist Card or its online e-Visa, so a traditional consular (sticker) visa must be obtained from a Surinamese embassy or consulate before travel. Suriname terminated its visa-waiver arrangement with Russia on 13 May 2019, restoring a full visa requirement for Russian nationals. Suriname now runs two streamlined electronic channels: an e-Tourist Card (a USD/EUR 50 "entry fee" for roughly 50+ low-risk nationalities such as the US, EU, UK, China) and an online e-Visa restricted to a list of about 21 nationalities flagged as higher-risk (e.g. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Venezuela). Russia appears on neither list. Consequently, Russian citizens fall into the default category and must apply for a traditional tourist (sticker) visa at the nearest Surinamese diplomatic mission. Suriname has no resident embassy in Russia, so applications are typically routed through a Surinamese mission abroad or handled via accredited missions; processing can take several days to a few weeks. The tourist visa is commonly issued as a single-entry document valid 2 months (multiple-entry up to 1 year also available), permitting stays of up to 90 days. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months. Suriname is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because no reliable visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel exists for Russian passports, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required.
