🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)🇸🇮斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia)RU-SI 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 前往 斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia) 签证要求
Russian ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit Slovenia. There is no visa-free, eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or ETIAS channel for Russian nationals. ETIAS applies only to visa-exempt travelers; Russians must apply for a full Schengen visa in advance. Slovenia is part of the Schengen Area, and Russia is on the EU visa-required (Annex I) list, so a Russian ordinary passport holder must obtain a uniform Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before travel for tourism or a short visit. The visa permits a stay of up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Since the EU fully suspended the EU-Russia Visa Facilitation Agreement on 12 September 2022, Russian applicants pay the standard EUR 80 fee (no reduced EUR 35 rate), face a longer standard decision deadline (15 days, extendable up to 45/60 days), must supply more supporting documents, and are subject to stricter multiple-entry visa rules tightened further by the European Commission in November 2025. Applications are lodged at the Slovenian Embassy in Moscow (or a Member State representing Slovenia / a VFS Global centre). ETIAS does not apply to Russian nationals because it is reserved for visa-exempt countries; Russians continue to need a traditional Schengen visa in 2026 and beyond. Holders of a valid residence permit issued by a Schengen state are exempt from the short-stay visa requirement. Given the absence of any confirmed visa-free route, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required.
