🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)🇲🇿莫桑比克(Mozambique)RU-MZ 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 前往 莫桑比克(Mozambique) 签证要求
Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a traditional visa for a short tourist stay in Mozambique, but they MUST obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before departure. Russia is one of 29 unilaterally visa-exempt countries; the ETA is mandatory and a small administrative fee (about 650 MZN / USD 10) is payable on arrival. As of mid-2026, Russia is on Mozambique's list of 29 visa-exempt nationalities established under Decree No. 10/2023. This means a Russian ordinary passport holder does not require a consular visa or eVisa for tourism. However, since April 2025 a pre-departure Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is mandatory for these visa-exempt travelers, and it must be obtained through the official National Migration Service portal at evisa.gov.mz at least 48 hours before travel. Mozambique relaunched its digital eVisa/ETA platform (operated with VFS Global) on 11 February 2026, and the ETA is active. The ETA grants an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable once in-country for a further 30 days, and is valid for 60 days from approval. A small administrative fee of roughly 650 Mozambican Meticais (about USD 10 / EUR 9) is payable, generally on arrival. Travelers without a valid ETA risk being denied airline boarding or refused entry at the border, as non-registration is treated as an implicit refusal of entry. Travelers who do not qualify for the exemption, or who need a longer/different category, use the standard eVisa channel on the same portal. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months, and immigration may request proof of accommodation and onward/return tickets even from visa-exempt travelers. Mozambique is in Southern Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
