🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)🇩🇰丹麦(Denmark)RU-DK 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 前往 丹麦(Denmark) 签证要求
A Russian ordinary passport holder needs a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit Denmark for tourism. There is no visa-free, eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or ETA channel. ETIAS does not apply to Russian nationals because Russia is not a Schengen visa-exempt country. Denmark is a Schengen Area member, and Russian ordinary passport holders are not visa-exempt, so a Schengen Type C short-stay visa is mandatory for tourism. The visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the whole Schengen Area. As of June 2026 the standard Schengen visa fee rose to EUR 90 for adults. Russia is NOT on the ETIAS visa-waiver list, so ETIAS will not be an option even after its Q4 2026 launch; Russians continue to require a full visa. Practical reality is harder than the rules suggest: since 2022 the EU suspended the EU-Russia Visa Facilitation Agreement (higher fee, longer processing, more documents), Denmark applies stricter scrutiny, and VFS Global in Russia has limited or suspended biometric enrolment and visa issuance for tourism. From 2026 several Schengen states including Denmark no longer accept non-biometric (old-style) Russian passports, so a biometric international passport is effectively required. Travelers should expect long waits, possible refusal, and may need to apply in a third country of legal residence. Default verdict is visa-required and conservative given the restricted environment.
