🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)🇧🇮布隆迪(Burundi)RU-BI 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 前往 布隆迪(Burundi) 签证要求
Russian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Burundi. The recommended route is the official eVisa applied online before travel; a visa on arrival is also available at Bujumbura airport and land borders. A Russia (RU) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Burundi visa-free. Visa-free access to Burundi is reserved for citizens of East African Community member states (DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda); Russia is not on that list. Russian travelers have two practical channels for a short tourist visit. The recommended option is the official eVisa, applied for online through the General Commissariat of Migration portal (migration.gov.bi), which issues a multiple-entry tourist/visitor visa valid for an initial 1-month stay for USD 90 (a USD 70 single-entry option exists). A visa on arrival is also available at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport in Bujumbura and at land borders for up to 1 month, at the same fee levels. Burundi is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Standard entry requirements include a passport valid for at least 6 months with a blank page, a yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory), proof of onward/return travel, and accommodation details. Applying for the eVisa in advance is advised to avoid queues and potential refusal at the border. Diplomatic and service passport holders of Russia are exempt for up to 90 days, but this does not apply to ordinary passports.
