No visa needed. Polish ordinary passport holders can enter Turkey (Türkiye) visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of 2026, Poland (PL) ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Turkey (Türkiye) for tourism, business and short visits. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that holders of Polish ordinary and official passports are exempt from a visa for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As Poland is an EU member, Polish citizens may also enter Turkey using a valid national ID card instead of a passport. No e-Visa, no visa-on-arrival and no embassy application are required for short tourist stays within the 90-day limit. Turkey is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the EU Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Turkey; the 90/180 figure here is Turkey's own independent visa-exemption window. Travelers must hold a travel document valid for the duration of stay (Turkey generally requires validity of at least 60 days beyond the visa/visa-exemption period, i.e. roughly 150 days from entry) and may be asked at the border for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation and sufficient funds. Stays longer than 90 days, or travel for work or study, require an appropriate visa or a residence permit obtained from Turkish authorities.
