🇵🇱波兰(Poland)🇷🇴罗马尼亚(Romania)PL-RO 波兰(Poland) 前往 罗马尼亚(Romania) 签证要求
No. Polish citizens do not need a visa to visit Romania. As an EU/Schengen citizen, a Poland ordinary passport holder enters freely for tourism with no time limit and may use a national ID card instead of a passport. Poland and Romania are both member states of the European Union and the Schengen Area, so freedom of movement applies fully between them. Romania became a full Schengen member on 1 January 2025, when checks at internal land borders were lifted (air and sea checks had already ended on 31 March 2024). A Polish ordinary passport holder needs no visa to enter Romania and may travel using either a valid passport or a Polish national identity card. EU citizens are subject only to a minimal identity verification and their documents are not stamped. There is no fixed 90-day limit on stays for EU citizens: a Polish national can stay in Romania for up to 90 days on the strength of EU free movement alone, and may remain longer by registering residence with the Romanian authorities (obtaining a registration certificate) if staying more than 90 days. The Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule and ETIAS apply only to non-EU visa-exempt nationals; they do NOT apply to Polish (EU) citizens. ETIAS, expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026, will not affect EU passport holders. In short, this is a fully visa-free, free-movement route at no cost.
