Polish passport holders need a visa for Namibia. Since 1 April 2025 Poland's old visa-free entry was abolished; Poland is now eligible for Namibia's visa-on-arrival, which can also be applied for online in advance as an eVisa-style approval. Namibia changed its visa policy on 1 April 2025, ending visa-free entry for many nationalities (including most EU states and, in practice, Poland) that did not offer reciprocal visa-free access to Namibians. As a result, Polish ordinary passport holders now require a visitor visa for tourism. Poland is on the list of nationalities eligible for Namibia's online Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) program launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (MHISS). Travelers can apply online before departure through the official MHISS e-services portal and receive an approval (functioning like an eVisa), or pay and obtain the visa physically at a designated port of entry such as Hosea Kutako International Airport. The standard fee is NAD 1,600 for non-African travelers, with an additional service fee for manual processing at the border. The visitor visa permits a short tourist stay of up to 90 days within a calendar year. Required documents include a passport valid at least 6 months with 3 blank pages, proof of accommodation, return/onward travel booking, proof of sufficient funds, and travel/medical insurance. Because conditions and fees can change and border issuance can involve queues, applying online in advance is strongly recommended.
