Polish (EU) ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Moldova. You may enter visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Poland is an EU member state, and Moldova grants all EU citizens visa-free entry for short stays. A Polish ordinary passport holder can travel to Moldova for tourism or a short visit without any visa, staying up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. EU citizens may even enter on a valid machine-readable national ID card instead of a passport, though a passport is recommended for air travel. The passport (if used) should have been issued within the last 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure from Moldova. Moldova is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU ETIAS authorization do NOT apply to a Pole entering Moldova (ETIAS instead affects Moldovans traveling to the EU, the opposite direction). No advance registration is required for an ordinary tourist stay. The only practical costs are a passport and travel/health insurance, which is strongly recommended since EU public health cards (EHIC) are not valid in Moldova.
