🇵🇱波兰(Poland)🇯🇵日本(Japan)PL-JP 波兰(Poland) 前往 日本(Japan) 签证要求
Polish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Japan. They receive visa-free "Temporary Visitor" status on arrival for stays of up to 90 days. Poland is one of the countries with a reciprocal visa-exemption arrangement with Japan, so holders of an ordinary Polish passport can travel to Japan for tourism, business meetings, visiting family or transit without obtaining a visa in advance. On arrival, an immigration officer grants "Temporary Visitor" status (a landing permit) valid for up to 90 days. Unlike Germany, the UK, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Liechtenstein and Mexico, Poland is NOT in the group eligible to extend beyond 90 days, so the standard 90-day limit applies. The passport should be valid for the duration of stay, and travelers should be ready to show onward/return tickets, proof of accommodation and sufficient funds. No income-earning activity is permitted on this status. Looking ahead, Japan's parliament passed legislation on 29 May 2026 to create JESTA, an electronic travel authorization for visa-free visitors, but it will not launch before fiscal 2028 (no later than 31 March 2029) and is NOT required for trips in 2026 or 2027. Japan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply to entry into Japan.
