Polish passport holders need a visa, obtained in advance, to visit the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). There is no visa-free entry, no visa on arrival, and no official eVisa for Polish citizens; the visa must be secured before travel from a Congolese diplomatic mission. The Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville, country code CG) requires Polish ordinary passport holders to obtain a visa before arrival. Poland is not on the Congo's visa-exempt list (limited to CEMAC neighbours such as Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, CAR and Equatorial Guinea with biometric passports) nor on its visa-on-arrival list (a short list of mainly West/North African states plus the UAE). No visa is issued at any port of entry, and the country does not currently operate a verified official eVisa platform for Polish nationals (eVisa portals such as evisa.gouv.cd belong to the separate Democratic Republic of the Congo). Applications are filed at a Congolese diplomatic mission; for Poland this is generally routed through the Embassy of the Republic of the Congo in Paris, with an Honorary Consulate in Warsaw able to assist. A tourist visa requires a notarised letter of invitation or confirmed hotel reservation, a return air ticket, and a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory for entry). Single-entry tourist visas typically permit stays in the 15-90 day range with validity around 3 months. Travellers should apply two to four weeks in advance.
