🇵🇱波兰(Poland)🇧🇬保加利亚(Bulgaria)PL-BG 波兰(Poland) 前往 保加利亚(Bulgaria) 签证要求
No visa. As an EU citizen, a Polish passport holder can travel to Bulgaria freely and stay indefinitely — the Schengen 90/180 limit and ETIAS do not apply to EU nationals. Poland and Bulgaria are both EU member states, and Bulgaria became a full member of the Schengen Area on 1 January 2025 (air and sea borders lifted 31 March 2024; land borders lifted 1 January 2025). A Polish citizen traveling to Bulgaria exercises the EU right to freedom of movement: no visa, no entry fee, and no application of any kind. You may enter with either a valid Polish passport or a valid Polish national ID card (dowód osobisty). Crucially, the Schengen short-stay rule of 90 days within any 180-day period applies only to third-country (non-EU) nationals — it does NOT apply to EU citizens, who may stay in Bulgaria indefinitely. For any continuous stay longer than 3 months, an EU citizen must simply register their residence with the local Bulgarian Migration Directorate (obtaining a registration certificate), but this is a residence formality, not a visa or a limit on tourism. The upcoming EU ETIAS travel authorization also does not apply to EU citizens. Because internal Schengen border checks between Poland and Bulgaria are normally absent, you will usually not face a passport stamp or systematic check, though carriers (airlines) and authorities may still ask to verify your identity, so always carry a valid travel document.
