🇵🇭菲律宾(Philippines)🇸🇧所罗门群岛(Solomon Islands)PH-SB 菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 所罗门群岛(Solomon Islands) 签证要求
Philippine ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter the Solomon Islands for tourism. The Philippines is on the list of nationalities that require prior approval from the Director of Immigration, so you cannot simply turn up and get a free visitor permit. You must apply in advance through the Solomon Islands electronic visa portal, receive a grant/approval letter, and present it on arrival. As of mid-2026, the Solomon Islands grants visa-free entry or a free visitor permit on arrival only to roughly 40-plus nationalities (mainly Commonwealth, EU, US, and Pacific neighbours). The Philippines is NOT among them. Under the Solomon Islands Immigration Division (Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration), Filipino citizens fall into the group that "may obtain a visa on arrival if they have a pre-arranged visa approval" - meaning prior approval from the Director of Immigration is mandatory before travel. The practical route is the online electronic visa portal: register, complete the Visitor (Tourist) Visa application, upload documents (passport bio page, return ticket, proof of funds, accommodation), and pay the fee. Total official fee is USD 150 (USD 100 visa fee + USD 50 online application/lodgement fee), levied in US dollars and converted to Solomon Islands Dollars (SBD) at registration. The visa is single entry, typically valid 30 days from issue with the visitor permit allowing a stay of up to 3 months (extendable in-country for a further fee). Note the portal's online payment was being phased in, so applicants may need to coordinate payment by email with the Immigration Division. Always carry a passport valid at least 6 months and the printed grant letter, as it must be shown at the port of entry.
