🇵🇭菲律宾(Philippines)🇲🇼马拉维(Malawi)PH-MW 菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 马拉维(Malawi) 签证要求
Filipino citizens holding an ordinary passport do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Malawi. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. The Philippines remains on Malawi's visa-exempt list under the reciprocity-based immigration regulations that took effect on 3 January 2026. A Philippines ordinary passport holder can travel to Malawi for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance or on arrival. The Philippines is one of roughly 45 nationalities on Malawi's visa-exempt list, permitting stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business. This status was reaffirmed when Malawi implemented its "Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 2026" on 3 January 2026, which restructured visa access around reciprocity but retained the Philippines as visa-free. Travelers simply arrive at a designated port of entry and receive an entry stamp, provided they meet standard entry conditions: a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date with blank pages, proof of onward or return travel, evidence of accommodation, and sufficient funds for the stay. No visa fee applies. Note that nationalities NOT on the exempt list must instead obtain an eVisa in advance through the official portal (evisa.gov.mw), as Malawi discontinued general visa-on-arrival in March 2020 for non-exempt travelers. Because Malawi periodically reviews its reciprocity-based list, travelers should verify their status with the Malawi Department of Immigration shortly before departure.
