The standard tourist eVisa costs USD 80, is single-entry, valid for up to 90 days, and processing officially takes around 72 hours (typically 3-4 business days). The eVisa process issues an Entry Visa Letter; the physical visa is collected at a visa-on-arrival counter at Conakry airport, where the traveler provides a photo and fingerprints. Guinea is in West Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. A key non-negotiable requirement is a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate, which is required for all travelers entering Guinea. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months and travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation and sufficient funds.
