🇵🇭菲律宾(Philippines)🇪🇨厄瓜多尔(Ecuador)PH-EC 菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 厄瓜多尔(Ecuador) 签证要求
Yes. A Philippines ordinary passport holder needs a visa to enter Ecuador. The Philippines is on Ecuador's visa-required list, so you must apply for and obtain a Temporary Visitor Visa (tourist/transit category) online, before you travel, via the Ecuadorian foreign ministry portal. Visa-on-arrival is not available. Ecuador grants 90 days visa-free to most of the world, but the Philippines is one of roughly 45 nationalities excluded from that benefit. Since Ecuador's 5 July 2024 visa-policy overhaul (reinforced by the 1 September 2025 update), Filipino citizens must obtain a Temporary Visitor Visa (Visa de Visitante Temporal) before boarding. The application is handled entirely online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility portal (serviciosdigitales.cancilleria.gob.ec); in-person submissions are no longer accepted and there is no visa-on-arrival channel. Plan for a USD 50 non-refundable application fee plus a USD 30 issuance fee (USD 80 total), and allow roughly 30 business days (about 4-8 weeks) for processing. The transit-category visitor visa permits stays of up to about 30 days, while the tourist visitor visa aligns with the standard 90-day tourist allowance within a rolling 12-month period. Passport must be valid at least 6 months. Ecuador is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Because the route requires a pre-approved visa, travelers should apply well ahead of any fixed travel dates and not book non-refundable flights until the visa is granted.
