菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 哥斯达黎加(Costa Rica) 签证要求

Philippines ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for a tourist visit to Costa Rica. You are granted a stay of up to 30 days on arrival, extendable in-country to a maximum of 90 days. The Philippines is in Costa Rica's Group 2 (30-day visa exemption). Costa Rica is NOT in the Schengen area, so no Schengen rules, ETIAS or eVisa apply. As of 2026-05-30, citizens of the Philippines holding an ordinary passport can travel to Costa Rica for tourism visa-free. Costa Rica classifies the Philippines under its Group 2 category, which grants visa-free entry for up to 30 days at the discretion of the immigration officer, extendable inside Costa Rica to a total of 90 days. At the border you must satisfy standard entry conditions: a passport valid for at least 6 months (in practice recommended; Costa Rica officially requires validity for the duration of stay, but 6 months is the safest standard), proof of onward or return travel out of Costa Rica, and evidence of sufficient funds. Costa Rica is a Central American country and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU ETIAS scheme are irrelevant to this route. There is no eVisa, no visa-on-arrival fee, and no electronic travel authorization required for Philippine tourists. Note that some third-party websites incorrectly list the Philippines as a consular/restricted-visa nationality for Costa Rica; the official visa policy classification places the Philippines in the 30-day visa-exempt group. Separately, Costa Rica also allows holders of valid multiple-entry US, Canadian, Schengen (C or D), UK, EU/EEA visas or US Green Cards to enter, but Philippine passport holders do not need to rely on this because they are independently visa-exempt. Travelers should still verify with the airline and Costa Rican immigration before departure, as documentation checks at entry have tightened in 2025.
