🇵🇭菲律宾(Philippines)🇨🇩刚果(金)(Congo (Dem. Rep.))PH-CD 菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 刚果(金)(Congo (Dem. Rep.)) 签证要求
Philippine passport holders need a visa to enter the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The recommended route is the official electronic visa (eVisa) at evisa.gouv.cd, launched in 2024-2025. There is no visa-free or standard visa-free channel, and DR Congo is not part of the Schengen area. A Philippines (PH) ordinary passport holder traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (CD) for tourism requires a visa. The DRC is a Central African country and is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The most practical channel is the official tourist eVisa, applied for online before travel via the government portal (evisa.gouv.cd), which the DRC rolled out for early-2025 implementation. The eVisa is typically processed within about 72 hours, costs around USD 300, and is generally issued for a short tourist stay (commonly described as a 7-day initial stay, single entry, extendable locally) with a roughly 90-day window to enter from issuance. A separate USD 90 fee is collected at the point of entry (the VAP/border fee). Travelers must also carry a valid International Certificate of Vaccination showing yellow fever vaccination, required for entry. As an alternative, Philippine citizens may apply at a DRC embassy or consulate, or in limited cases obtain a "visa volant"/visa confirmation arranged in advance with the Direction Générale de Migration. Because fees, stay length and entries can vary by nationality and visa category, applicants should confirm current details on the official portal before booking travel. Given that no reliable visa-free or true visa-on-arrival-without-prior-arrangement channel exists for Philippine tourists, the conservative and recommended verdict is eVisa (visa required, obtained electronically in advance).
