Netherlands passport holders need an e-Visa to visit Togo for tourism. Apply in advance on the official Togo Voyage portal (voyage.gouv.tg); visa-on-arrival was discontinued in April 2024. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travelers. A Dutch ordinary passport holder traveling to Togo for a short tourist visit requires a visa, obtained electronically through the Togolese government's official Togo Voyage e-Visa portal at voyage.gouv.tg. The Netherlands is not on Togo's visa-exempt list (only ECOWAS/CEDEAO member states enjoy visa-free access), so an e-Visa must be secured before departure. Togo formally suspended its long-standing visa-on-arrival scheme in April 2024, making pre-arrival e-Visa application mandatory. The standard tourist e-Visa is issued for 15 days single entry (25,000 XOF), with longer and multiple-entry options up to 90 days (65,000 XOF). Applicants must create an account, complete the immigration declaration, upload a passport bio-page scan, a digital photo, proof of accommodation and a return/onward ticket, and pay online by card or mobile money. Processing takes up to five working days, so applications should be lodged at least 5–6 days before arrival. Separately, a valid international yellow fever vaccination certificate is compulsory for every traveler entering Togo regardless of origin, and passports should be valid for at least six months beyond the stay.
