🇳🇱荷兰(Netherlands)🇳🇬尼日利亚(Nigeria)NL-NG 荷兰(Netherlands) 前往 尼日利亚(Nigeria) 签证要求
Netherlands ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Nigeria for tourism. Since the May 2025 reforms, this is obtained as an eVisa (Tourism Visa, class F5A) applied for online before travel — Nigeria abolished visa-on-arrival in 2025. A Netherlands ordinary passport holder is NOT visa-exempt for Nigeria. Nigeria only waives visas for ECOWAS member states and a small number of countries with bilateral visa-abolition agreements; the Netherlands is not among them. On 1 May 2025 Nigeria launched a fully electronic visa (eVisa) system through the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and simultaneously cancelled the former Visa-on-Arrival programme for short visitors, citing national-security reasons. Dutch tourists must therefore apply online via the official NIS eVisa portal (evisa.immigration.gov.ng) before travelling, selecting the Tourism Visa (F5A), a single-entry visa. The eVisa is approved by email, typically within 24-48 hours, and an endorsement sticker is affixed in the passport on arrival. The visa is valid 90 days from issuance for a maximum stay of 30 days, single entry, and is not extendable. Travellers must also complete the online landing card on arrival and exit card on departure, both introduced as part of the 2025 automated border-management reforms. Required documents include a passport valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages, a passport photo, return ticket, proof of accommodation/host details, and a recent bank statement showing sufficient funds. Nigeria is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Nigeria.
