Dutch passport holders need a visa for Cambodia. The easiest option is the official online eVisa (Type T tourist), which costs USD 30, is issued in about 3 business days, and allows a single entry of up to 30 days. A Netherlands ordinary passport holder is NOT visa-exempt for Cambodia and must obtain a visa for tourism. There are three valid channels: the official online eVisa (recommended), visa on arrival at major international airports and land borders, or a visa from a Cambodian embassy/consulate. The eVisa (Tourist Type T) costs USD 30, permits a single entry with a stay of up to 30 days, and is valid for 90 days from issue. Apply only at the official portal evisa.gov.kh to avoid third-party markups. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond entry with at least one blank page, and you should hold proof of onward travel. Separately, since 2025 all air travelers must also submit the free Cambodia e-Arrival Card (at arrival.gov.kh) within 7 days before arrival; this is not a visa but is required for air entry. The eVisa is accepted at the main international airports (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap-Angkor, Sihanoukville) and major land borders, but not at all minor crossings or seaports.
