🇳🇱荷兰(Netherlands)🇨🇾塞浦路斯(Cyprus)NL-CY 荷兰(Netherlands) 前往 塞浦路斯(Cyprus) 签证要求
Dutch passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Cyprus. As EU citizens, Dutch nationals enjoy full freedom of movement and can enter Cyprus for tourism with just a valid Dutch passport or national ID card. There is no 90-day cap on stay. The Netherlands and Cyprus are both European Union member states, so Dutch nationals travel to Cyprus under the EU right of free movement, not under any visa or Schengen short-stay regime. No visa, ETIAS, or eVisa is required. A valid Dutch passport OR a valid Dutch national identity card is sufficient for entry. Cyprus is NOT yet part of the Schengen Area (it is targeting Schengen accession in 2026, with Austria and the Netherlands among the more cautious members), so border checks still apply on arrival and you must carry and present a valid travel document. Because ETIAS applies only to visa-exempt non-EU nationals, it will never apply to Dutch citizens, even after Cyprus joins Schengen. EU citizens may stay in Cyprus for up to 3 months freely; for longer stays they simply register their residence with the local authorities (Civil Registry and Migration Department) - this is a registration formality, not a visa. Note one practical point: from 3 August 2026 older-format EU national ID cards lose validity for cross-border travel, so travelers relying on an ID card should ensure it meets the new European standard; a passport avoids this issue entirely.
