🇲🇾马来西亚(Malaysia)🇲🇷毛里塔尼亚(Mauritania)MY-MR 马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 毛里塔尼亚(Mauritania) 签证要求
Malaysian ordinary passport holders need an e-Visa to visit Mauritania for tourism. Since 5 January 2025, the e-Visa is mandatory and must be obtained online before boarding; visa-on-arrival has been discontinued and embassies no longer issue stickers. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry. Mauritania is not in the Schengen area and operates an electronic visa (e-Visa) regime. Malaysia is not among Mauritania's ~10 visa-exempt nationalities (which are mainly West/North African neighbours), so a Malaysian ordinary passport holder must obtain a visa for any tourist trip. As of 5 January 2025, Mauritania rolled out a national e-Visa system administered by the Agence Nationale du Registre des Populations et des Titres Sécurisés (ANRPTS). All visa-required travellers must apply online and obtain e-Visa approval before boarding their flight; the previous visa-on-arrival channel at Nouakchott airport and land borders has been withdrawn, and from June 2025 Mauritanian embassies stopped issuing visas, redirecting applicants to the online portal. The standard tourist e-Visa is single entry, allows a stay of up to 30 days, and the visa is valid for travel within a window (commonly up to 90 days) from issuance. The government fee is €55 (about US$60), which is typically collected in exact cash (Euros or US dollars) on arrival in Mauritania. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is a firm entry requirement, and passports must have at least six months' validity plus a blank page. Travellers should apply only through the official ANRPTS portal (anrpts.gov.mr) to avoid third-party mark-ups.
