马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 冰岛(Iceland) 签证要求

Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Iceland. Iceland is part of the Schengen Area, where Malaysia enjoys visa-free access for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Iceland is a member of the Schengen Area, and Malaysia is on the Schengen visa-exemption list. Holders of an ordinary Malaysian passport may enter Iceland (and the wider Schengen zone) without a visa for tourism or short business visits, for a maximum of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. No visa application, fee, or advance authorisation is currently required. Travelers must carry a passport valid for at least three months beyond the planned departure date from Schengen, and should be able to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds at the border. Looking ahead, the EU's ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is scheduled to begin operating in the last quarter of 2026, followed by a transitional grace period before it becomes mandatory. ETIAS is NOT a visa — it is a low-cost online travel authorisation (EUR 20, free for under-18s and over-70s) that visa-exempt nationals such as Malaysians will need to obtain before travelling to Iceland and other Schengen states once the system is enforced. As of the verification date (mid-2026), ETIAS is not yet compulsory, so Malaysians can still travel visa-free with no online authorisation, but should monitor the official EU rollout before booking late-2026 or 2027 travel.
