马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 希腊(Greece) 签证要求

Malaysian ordinary passport holders can travel to Greece visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, as Greece is in the Schengen Area. No visa or ETIAS is required as of 30 May 2026 (ETIAS is expected to launch in Q4 2026 and become mandatory after a transitional period in 2027). Greece is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Malaysia is on the EU's visa-exempt (Annex II) list. This means Malaysian ordinary passport holders may enter Greece and the wider Schengen zone for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa for stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond their intended departure (issued within the last 10 years), and may be asked at the border for proof of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and accommodation. The EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) began operating in April 2026, biometrically registering non-EU travelers at Schengen external borders, but it does not change the no-visa status. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026; once mandatory (after a roughly six-month transitional period in 2027), Malaysians will need to obtain an inexpensive online ETIAS authorisation before travel. As of the verification date (30 May 2026), ETIAS is not yet required, so the current verdict for a short tourist stay is visa-free.
