No visa needed. Malaysian ordinary passport holders can enter Fiji visa-free for tourism for up to 4 months. Malaysia is on Fiji's official visa-exempted countries list. Ordinary Malaysian passport holders travelling for tourism or a short visit are granted a visitor permit on arrival for a stay of up to 4 months, with no visa required in advance and no application fee. The free visitor permit is issued at the port of entry by a Fiji immigration officer once you present a passport valid for at least 6 months, a confirmed onward or return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds and accommodation. The stay can be extended in 2-month increments at the Fiji Immigration office, but total continuous stay must not exceed 6 months. This is a unilateral visa exemption and applies to genuine visitors only; travellers intending to work, study or undertake activities beyond tourism require the relevant permit.
