🇲🇾马来西亚(Malaysia)🇪🇷厄立特里亚(Eritrea)MY-ER 马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 厄立特里亚(Eritrea) 签证要求
Malaysian ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Eritrea. There is no visa-free entry, no visa-on-arrival, and no eVisa for Malaysians — you must apply in advance at an Eritrean diplomatic mission before you travel. A Malaysia (MY) ordinary passport holder traveling to Eritrea (ER) for tourism requires a visa obtained in advance from an Eritrean embassy or consulate. Eritrea's visa policy grants visa-free access only to Kenya and Uganda, and visa-on-arrival only to Ethiopia and Sudan; Malaysia is in neither group. Eritrea does not currently operate a general eVisa system, so the visa must be secured before departure, typically by submitting the B62.3 application form and supporting documents to an Eritrean mission. Because Eritrea has no embassy in Malaysia, applicants generally apply through the nearest accredited Eritrean mission or via the Embassy in Washington, D.C., which operates an online Consular Affairs Processing System paired with mailing in the physical passport. A tourist visa is normally valid for three months from the date of issue and permits a stay of about one month, extendable at the Immigration Office in Asmara. Processing takes a minimum of about 15 business days, so apply well ahead. Eritrea is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Travelers should also note that Eritrea is subject to elevated travel advisories, and entry/exit and internal travel can require additional permits.
