🇲🇾马来西亚(Malaysia)🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)MY-EG 马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 埃及(Egypt) 签证要求
Malaysian ordinary passport holders can enter Egypt visa-free for tourism for up to 14 days. For stays beyond 14 days, an official eVisa (visa2egypt.gov.eg) is required. Malaysia and Egypt have a reciprocal visa-exemption arrangement, so holders of an ordinary Malaysian passport may enter Egypt without a visa for tourism or short business visits for up to 14 days. This is confirmed by Egypt's visa policy, the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KLN), and the Malaysian Embassy in Cairo. To qualify, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, and travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel and accommodation. Egypt is in Africa, not the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers who plan to stay longer than 14 days (up to 30 days) should obtain an Egypt eVisa in advance through the official government portal at visa2egypt.gov.eg. As of 2026 the eVisa costs USD 30 (single entry) or USD 65 (multiple entry), each allowing a 30-day stay and valid for 3 months (single) / 6 months (multiple) from issue. A visa on arrival is also available at major airports such as Cairo, but its fees were increased on 1 March 2026 and it is no longer the cheapest or fastest channel. For a standard short tourist visit of two weeks or less, no visa is needed at all.
