🇲🇾马来西亚(Malaysia)🇨🇾塞浦路斯(Cyprus)MY-CY 马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 塞浦路斯(Cyprus) 签证要求
Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Cyprus. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of June 2026, holders of an ordinary Malaysian passport can travel to Cyprus for tourism without a visa, staying up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. Cyprus is an EU member state but is NOT yet part of the Schengen Area; it applies a visa policy partially based on the Schengen acquis. Crucially, days spent in Cyprus are counted on a SEPARATE 90/180 allowance from the Schengen Area — time in Cyprus does not consume your Schengen days, and vice versa. The EU's ETIAS travel authorization is NOT yet in force: it is expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026 and only becomes mandatory in 2027. Once live, Malaysian travelers will need an approved ETIAS (a quick online pre-travel authorization, not a visa) to visit Cyprus and the Schengen states. For now, no advance application is required — travelers simply present a valid passport and supporting documents at the border. Standard requirements include a passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date (six months recommended), proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, sufficient funds, and travel medical insurance.
