The Group 2 tourist visa is commonly issued free of charge or for a low fee (figures of USD 0 to USD 30 appear in consular sources), grants a 30-day stay that can be extended twice for the same period (up to 90 days within a 12-month year), and is normally single-entry. Required documents typically include a passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, a completed online form, passport photos, a confirmed onward/return ticket, hotel reservations, proof of funds, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Because the visa-on-arrival route was recently removed and sources still disagree, travelers should treat the advance consular visa as the only reliable channel and confirm details with the specific mission handling their application.
