🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇺🇾乌拉圭(Uruguay)MX-UY 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 乌拉圭(Uruguay) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Uruguay for tourism. They are granted visa-free entry for up to 90 days on arrival, extendable for an additional 90 days. Mexico is on Uruguay's list of visa-exempt jurisdictions. Holders of an ordinary Mexican passport may enter Uruguay for tourism, business, family visits or transit without obtaining any visa in advance. On arrival, immigration officers stamp the passport and grant a stay of up to 90 days. This period can be extended once for a further 90 days by applying to the Dirección Nacional de Migración (National Migration Office) inside Uruguay, for a maximum of 180 days. There is no visa fee, no eVisa, no visa-on-arrival procedure and no reciprocity fee for Mexican citizens. Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of their stay (six months' validity is the safe recommendation), proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation, which border officers may request. Uruguay is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS authorization applies to this route. Entry by air is generally through Carrasco International Airport (MVD) in Montevideo. This guidance applies to short tourist stays only; work, study, or residence requires a different permit obtained through Uruguayan authorities.
