🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇸🇳塞内加尔(Senegal)MX-SN 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 塞内加尔(Senegal) 签证要求
Yes. A Mexican ordinary passport holder needs a visa to enter Senegal for tourism. Mexico is NOT on Senegal's visa-exemption list and is not eligible for visa-on-arrival, so the tourist visa must be obtained in advance at a Senegalese embassy or consulate before travelling. As of mid-2026, Senegal requires Mexican ordinary passport holders to obtain a tourist visa in advance. Senegal waives short-stay visas for roughly 60 countries (all ECOWAS and EU states plus a defined list including Brazil, Canada, Japan, the UK and the USA), but Mexico is explicitly not among them. The Wikipedia visa policy of Senegal lists Mexico among countries that must apply for a tourist visa at a Senegalese diplomatic mission. Senegal's visa-on-arrival is limited to specific eligible nationalities at Dakar's Blaise Diagne International Airport and is not available to Mexicans, and the former Senegal eVisa portal has remained suspended for years. Mexican travellers should therefore apply through a Senegalese embassy/consulate (or an accredited mission with jurisdiction over Mexico) ahead of the trip. The single-entry short-stay visa typically permits stays of up to 90 days, costs about EUR 50, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry. Senegal is in West Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
