🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇸🇱塞拉利昂(Sierra Leone)MX-SL 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 塞拉利昂(Sierra Leone) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders need a visa for Sierra Leone. The recommended channel is the official eVisa, applied for online before travel (USD 80, single entry, up to 30 days stay). A Mexico ordinary passport holder is NOT visa-exempt for Sierra Leone and is not on the country's visa-on-arrival eligibility list (which is limited to ECOWAS/African Union, EU and selected nations). As a non-African Union national, a Mexican traveler must obtain a Sierra Leone eVisa before departure through the official immigration portal. The eVisa is single-entry, costs USD 80 for non-AU nationals, permits a stay of up to 30 days, and is valid for 90 days from issue (extendable once inside the country). Processing typically takes 2-3 business days. Sierra Leone is a West African country and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. While a visa on arrival mechanism exists at Freetown International Airport and the Gbalamuya and Jendema land borders, it is designed for listed/eligible nationalities and airlines may deny boarding without a pre-approved eVisa; the eVisa is therefore the safe, recommended route for Mexican citizens.
