🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇸🇰斯洛伐克(Slovakia)MX-SK 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 斯洛伐克(Slovakia) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Slovakia. Slovakia is in the Schengen Area, and Mexico is on the EU visa-exempt list, allowing stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of June 2026, no pre-authorization is required; the EU's ETIAS is not yet operational (expected late 2026). Slovakia is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Mexico is on the EU's Annex II list of countries whose nationals are exempt from short-stay (Schengen Type C) visas. A Mexican ordinary-passport tourist may therefore enter Slovakia and the wider Schengen Area without a visa for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. No visa fee or application applies. Entry conditions still apply at the border: a passport valid at least three months beyond the intended departure date (commonly held to six months) and issued within the previous 10 years, plus possible proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, sufficient funds, and travel medical insurance. The EU's new ETIAS travel authorization (a EUR 20 online pre-screening valid 3 years) will eventually apply to Mexican travelers, but it is expected to launch only in Q4 2026 and is NOT yet required as of June 2026, with a subsequent transitional grace period. Travelers should disregard any site claiming to sell ETIAS now, as the official portal has not launched. The separate Entry/Exit System (EES) biometric registration at borders is being rolled out but does not require any advance application.
