🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇭🇺匈牙利(Hungary)MX-HU 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 匈牙利(Hungary) 签证要求
No visa needed. Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Hungary visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism, business, or transit, because Mexico is on the EU's visa-exemption (Annex II) list and Hungary is a Schengen member state. Hungary is part of the Schengen Area, and Mexico holds a visa-waiver agreement with the European Union (Mexico appears on the EU Annex II list of visa-exempt nationalities). As of June 2026, a Mexican ordinary passport holder may travel to Hungary for short tourist stays without a Schengen visa, staying up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. This 90/180 limit is cumulative across ALL Schengen countries, not per country. No visa fee or application applies for short stays under this allowance; a visa is only required if you intend to stay longer than 90 days, work, or study. Two new EU systems affect this route in 2026: the Entry/Exit System (EES) began a phased rollout on 12 October 2025 and becomes fully operational at all external Schengen borders from 10 April 2026 (it digitally registers your entries/exits and replaces passport stamping at no cost). ETIAS, a separate online travel authorization (EUR 7 fee, valid up to 3 years), is still NOT in force; the EU expects it to start in the last quarter of 2026, with a transitional grace period afterward. Until ETIAS is officially launched and mandatory, Mexican travelers need only a valid passport, no online pre-authorization. Travelers should confirm the live ETIAS status before departure later in 2026.
