🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇬🇹危地马拉(Guatemala)MX-GT 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 危地马拉(Guatemala) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Guatemala for tourism. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. Before arrival they must complete the free online Declaracion Jurada Regional de Viajero (DJRV) travel declaration. As of mid-2026, Mexico is on Guatemala's visa-exempt list, so Mexican citizens holding an ordinary passport can travel to Guatemala for tourism without obtaining a visa. The standard visa-free stay is up to 90 days; this period can typically be extended once at the Guatemalan immigration authority (Instituto Guatemalteco de Migracion) for up to another 90 days. Note that Mexico is NOT a member of the Central America-4 (CA-4) Border Control Agreement (which links Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua), so the Mexican exemption is granted independently as a listed visa-exempt nationality. There is no visa fee. The only mandatory pre-travel formality for air and sea arrivals is the electronic Declaracion Jurada Regional de Viajero (DJRV) sworn traveler declaration, administered by Guatemala's SAT together with the immigration institute. It is free, 100% online, and can be completed up to 3 days (and as early as 15 days) before travel. Travelers should hold a passport valid for at least six months, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details, and evidence of sufficient funds. Guatemala is in Central America and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
