🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇨🇾塞浦路斯(Cyprus)MX-CY 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 塞浦路斯(Cyprus) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders can travel to Cyprus visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa is required before travel as of 1 June 2026. Cyprus is a European Union member state that, as of mid-2026, is not yet part of the Schengen Area but applies a visa policy aligned with the Schengen acquis. Mexico is on the EU/Cyprus visa-exemption list, so ordinary Mexican passport holders may enter Cyprus without a visa for tourism, business, or family visits for stays not exceeding 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. Because Cyprus is outside Schengen, time spent in Cyprus is counted separately from the Schengen 90/180 allowance. At the border, travelers must hold a passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure (commonly six months recommended), and may be asked for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. A new pre-travel requirement, the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), will apply to visa-exempt nationals including Mexicans for Cyprus and Schengen countries, but it is expected to begin operations only in the last quarter of 2026 and is NOT yet required as of 1 June 2026. Once live, ETIAS will cost EUR 20, be valid for up to three years (or until passport expiry), and allow multiple entries. For now, no application or authorization is needed.
