🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇧🇬保加利亚(Bulgaria)MX-BG 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 保加利亚(Bulgaria) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Bulgaria. As a full Schengen member (since 1 January 2025), Bulgaria admits Mexican nationals visa-free for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Bulgaria became a full member of the Schengen Area on 1 January 2025, with all air, sea, and land border controls lifted. Mexico is on the EU's visa-exempt list, so a Mexican ordinary passport holder may enter Bulgaria for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa for a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period. This 90-day allowance is cumulative across all 29 Schengen countries combined, not per country. Travelers must carry a passport valid for at least three months beyond the planned departure date and issued within the last 10 years, and should be ready to show proof of accommodation, onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and travel medical insurance of at least EUR 30,000 if asked at the border. Looking ahead, the EU's ETIAS travel authorization is scheduled to become operational in the last quarter of 2026; once live (after a transitional grace period) Mexican travelers will need to obtain an ETIAS authorization online before travel. As of 1 June 2026, ETIAS is not yet required and no application or fee applies. The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is also being phased in and biometrically registers non-EU travelers at the border, but it does not change the visa-free status. Overstaying the 90/180 limit can lead to fines, deportation, and entry bans, so travelers should track their days carefully.
